How much does a paver patio cost in San Diego?

Most residential paver patios in San Diego County land between $15 and $30 per square foot installed, depending on the paver you choose, how much excavation the site needs, and whether there is existing concrete to remove. A 300 square foot patio typically runs $4,500 to $9,000. We give you a written number after we see the space, not a range over the phone.

Do I need a permit for a fence in San Diego County?

In most of San Diego County, fences up to six feet in the rear and side yards do not require a permit. Front yard fences are usually capped lower, often three or four feet, and retaining walls over a certain height need a permit regardless of location. Rules vary by city and by HOA. We tell you what applies to your address before we start.

How long does concrete take to cure before I can use it?

Accepted Answer

You can walk on new concrete after about 24 to 48 hours. Wait a week before putting patio furniture on it, and at least 28 days before parking a vehicle on a new driveway. We tell you exactly when your specific pour is ready.

Pavers or stamped concrete, which is better?

Accepted Answer

Pavers cost more up front but individual pieces can be lifted and reset if a section settles or stains, and they handle San Diego's soil movement better. Stamped concrete costs less and gives you a continuous surface, but cracks are permanent and repairs are visible. If you plan to stay in the house, we usually recommend pavers.

Do you handle the whole job or just part of it?

The whole job. Excavation, base prep, install, and finish work are all done by our crew. We do not subcontract, which is why the person who gives you the quote is the person on your property doing the work.
